Welcome to Banbury Central Bowling Club
I am honoured to be Club President for the 2025 season, I have been a member of
the club for as long as I can remember and I am excited to be able to take on this
role.
I would love to see some new members this year, so if you are reading this thinking
that you would like to give it a go, then please do! We are a friendly, welcoming
community, who love to see new faces. We have a full calendar of friendly matches
against other clubs and also have club night on a Friday where we can organise
informal games and a social catch up. If you are interested, follow this link for more

We also have a thriving Youth Bowls Academy, who meet on Tuesdays 3.30pm –
5.00pm. Young players (school year 5+) are welcome to come along and try the
game and meet other young players follow this link for more information.
For our current membership, I am looking forward to seeing you all accomplish what
you set out to achieve, whether that is to continue to support the club in our friendly
matches or in our competitive league games or trying to win County and National
Titles – good luck and enjoy!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Committee for their continued
support and devotion to our club. As a team we strive to make the club the best it
can be for the members and to ensure its longevity for our future bowlers.

We aim to provide a safe place for all to enjoy Bowls and have adopted the Bowls England Code of Conduct as well as updating our own Safeguarding Policy both of which are availble by following the links.
Competitions Entry Form
All of our Club Competitions are free to enter. Follow this link for the Entry Form that you can update anytime up to closing which is midday on 30th April. Queries can be sent to the Competitions Secretary.

Matches, Competitions and Events
The fixtures are all listed on the fixtures tab and if you wish to print out your own copy then
follow this link.
If you click on the + on the bottom right of the calendar all the events will be added to your own Google Calendar and this will be updated throughout the season as notifications of changes are received.
