Youth Bowls Academy  

Young people are welcome to join our ongoing programme on Tuesday's 

from 3.30pm after school at our bowls green situated behind the tennis courts on

If you are a young person completing the registration form

we will also require an approval from a parent/guardian for you to attend.

Our sessions are after school on Tuesday afternoons 3.30pm - 5.00pm.

After the two weeks of the summer school we will continue at the same time throughout the summer.

Young players are able to enter our Club Competitions as well as the Competitions run by the academy.

Once they are members they can also play in our friendly club matches.

Summer School 2025

our 2025 Summer school will run each morning 10.30 - 12.30 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

from 29th - 31st July & 5th - 7th August

There is a small charge of £1.00 for each session and parents/carers are welcome
to stay on site for the duration of the session or drop off and return later

It would be helpful if you could register (as described at the top of this page) so that we can plan our sessions

Our Club Coach is qualified with Bowls England's coaching scheme and all of the team are

DBS checked and approved for working with children and vulnerable adults.

We aim to provide a safe place for all to enjoy Bowls and have adopted the Bowls Development Alliance (BDA) Code of Conduct

as well as updating our own Safeguarding Policy both of which are availble by following the links.
